Location
Positioned on the corner of Thonglor Soi 1, The Bangkok Thonglor will be the closest new condominium on Thonglor Road to the BTS skytrain (only 350 meters). Thonglor is renowned for high-end international cuisine restaurants, cheap street foods, cafés, boutique shops and nightlife vibrancy, making it one of the most sought-after residential addresses in Bangkok among wealthy Thais as well as Japanese expatriates.
Thonglor Soi 1 is conveniently connected to Soi Sukhumvit 53 where Bangkok Prep International School (The Primary Campus) is located. This means there will be residential demand from families who send kids to the school.
In terms of shopping and dining, there are plenty of trending community malls in Thonglor such as J-Avenue Thonglor, The Commons, Maze Thonglor, Seen Space, 72 Courtyard and Fifty Fifth. The nearest community mall is The Market Place Thonglor which is located only 3 minutes away from the project.
In addition to all the lifestyle amenities, if you ever get sick, Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital and Bangkok Hospital are both located within easy reach.
Only one stop from Thonglor BTS Station is Phrom Phong BTS Station which is a home to the EM District, one of Bangkok’s famous shopping destinations, and Benjasiri Park. The Phrom Phong area is also known as “Bangkok’s Japanese Town” because it is a popular residential area among Japanese expatriates and families. The area is fully supported by authentic Japanese restaurants and Japanese supermarkets.

Upcoming infrastructure
With its popularity, Thonglor area continues to be developed. In Soi Thonglor, there are two large upcoming real estate projects by Origin Property. Staybridge Suites is 303-key hotel and serviced apartment while Park Thonglor is a mixed-use project on 13-rai of land (a former plot of Arena 10 Thonglor). The construction of the first phase of Park Thonglor which is a high-end residential component will start within 2018 and the whole project is expected to be completed by 2024.

At the corner of Soi Sukhumvit 40, T-One, a new 43,700-sq.m. office building by Tan Eng Asset, is expected to open in Q3 2018. This can potentially push up residential demand for a condominium both for sale and for rent in the neighborhood.
The completion of Em District at Phrom Phong Station is still underway. The Mall Group is planning “Emsphere,” the third shopping mall next to Benjasiri Park.

In addition to the upcoming developments in the area, property value in Thonglor is also expected to increase once the first phase of the Grey Monorail Line planned from Raminthra to Thonglor BTS Station operates. The environmental impact assessment study for the Grey Line has been completed and the construction of Phase 1 is expected to take 3 years.
The Grey Line will intersect with a number of other mass transit lines when all three phases are completed including the Pink Line, the Yellow Line, the Orange Line, the Light Red Line, and the Green Line at Thonglor BTS Station. The Grey Line is expected to carry around 140,000 daily commuters.
